New Capture One Lightroom Presets. This permits you to use Lightroom presets in Capture One. This, particular, comes in handy when migrating or switching to Capture One from Lightroom. You can import presets into Capture One or create your own presets and styles and all presets and styles can be saved and previewed (before applying them). As it is, Capture One lets me send the photos to Aurora HDR, but then I have to export from Aurora and re-import to Capture One. One thing new in version 12, though, though, is export plug-in support. To date there are only three available plug-ins: Format portfolio service, Helicon Focus (for focus stacking), and JPEGmini’s resizing.
Today Capture One announced a new update to Capture One 20. The latest update brings brand new heal and clone tools that reduce the need for external retouching applications while increasing efficiency, and a new Before & After Tool that gives new ways to check your editing progress and to compare your edits. Capture One released two new “Nordic light” style packs inspired by the aesthetics of the far north: “Get crisp, bright looks for the fresh season with the Nordic Lifestyle Style Pack or add new color-grading possibilities with the Nordic Editorial Style Pack.
